All Authorized Vendors are encouraged to conduct NJ WIC APL uploads frequently to ensure the most up-to-date list is in your POS system. Ensure that the new food updates are reflected in your POS system. The State Agency recommends vendors contact their POS technician to assist with establishing automatic and daily NJ WIC APL uploads. These APL uploads should occur daily to ensure NJ WIC APL changes are reflected immediately.
NJ WIC will now be accepting submissions for new food products to the APL on an ongoing basis. A new form is required for submissions. Please send completed forms to NJWICFoodList@doh.nj.gov.
Access the submission form here.
In an effort to continue to offer greater access to healthy, nutritious foods to NJ WIC participants, the State WIC Agency has made changes to the New Jersey WIC Approved Food List. New items, sizes and varieties have been added.
The New Jersey WIC Services, Vendor Unit, is responsible for selecting, authorizing, and training all NJ WIC authorized vendors to ensure access to healthy food, including fruits and vegetables for WIC participants. The Vendor Unit team monitors and investigates interested retailers and WIC authorized vendors to reduce fraud and abuse in the WIC food delivery system.
